How I Prepared the Food on My Serving Platters in a Brand-New Course:
The Complete Online Program for Preparing Dairy (and Pareve) Dishes that Will Make You the Top Host, Filling Your Table with Delicacies that Will Earn You Endless Compliments from Your Guests or Clients
<< No Matter Your Level of Knowledge and Experience in the Kitchen >>
When I was a little girl, My Biggest Dream
was to have A Home With A Pantry.
Yes, you read that correctly.
I'll never forget visiting a friend's house
and seeing their kitchen
with a pantry full of ingredients.
I was jealous.
In my childhood home in the Kibbutz,
there was nothing in the kitchen cabinets.
If we wanted to make pasta, we'd go buy pasta.
When we wanted to treat ourselves,
we'd buy Knorr spaghetti
with a powder packet that turned water into sauce.
Lunch I ate in the kibbutz dining hall,
or I’d heat up some corn schnitzel at home.
As I grew older, I started dreaming
of having a large, spacious home suitable for hosting.
A kitchen with loads of ingredients
where I could cook, bake, and make delights,
for everyone to feel at home.
I pictured friends and family coming over
and The Table is Full of a variety of high-quality food
fresh and delicious, savory pastries, refreshing salads,
indulgent dishes that fill the heart and belly with joy.
The kind that makes everyone smile when they take a bite,
and not even finish chewing
before saying – "Wow, this is so delicious!"
I can't quite explain it,
Maybe it's just part of my personality,
but seeing people enjoy the food I've prepared,
the combinations I've created, the variety I've made.
there's no substitute for me, and there never will be.
It's my happiness and it fills me with excitement.
Whether it's at a festive Brunch,
a Shabbat or Holiday morning meal,
a family Birthday celebration
or a Casual evening with friends...
I once thought I was unusual,
that everyone loves being a guest and only I for some reason
prefer gatherings and events to be at my home.
But over time, and especially with the courses I created,
when I saw how many women join
and learn to bake because they love hosting
and wanting to spoil their guests with delicacies,
I realized I was not alone at all.
When I first started hosting people,
family members or friends from all walks of life,
I didn't know what to prepare or how to do it properly.
I started by guessing, improvising,
and using recipes I found online or in books,
but I was almost always disappointed with the result.
Either it didn't turn out tasty,
or I didn't know how to make it both beautiful and aesthetic,
or I simply didn't fully understand the recipe steps as I should have,
and I got stuck.
I kept searching and experimenting.
At some point, I began inventing,
making changes, adapting, and checking again.
I compared results, examined textures
until I achieved results I truly loved.
The dishes were excellent, delicious,
and simple enough to make it easy and fun
to fill a table with plenty of flavors that everyone loves.
And what's the catch?
Because I loved it so much,
and enjoyed preparing snacks for every event,
that I took my passion one step further,
and started selling serving platters for events.
I prepared food for Britot, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs,
birthdays, memorials, and even weddings!
I prepared platters filled with a variety of delicious and diverse food,
all made with lots of love.
Every time I was excited to hear
the feedback about the food after the event,
or finding out that everything was devoured
even before anyone had a chance to take photos.
Ever since I started teaching baking in digital courses,
I've been consistently asked one question:
"Meshi, when will you release a savory course?"
And honestly? I don't know why I haven't done it until now.
With all the experience I've gained in making food for hosting and events,
it makes perfect sense to respond to these demands.
So that everyone can make quiches, pasta, lasagna, pastries and dairy treats, special spreads, buns and stuffings, and more, that will put together a perfect hosting table like no other.
So I finally decided to take up the challenge, step out of the sweet world, and reveal all the recipes and preparation methods for the food I sold in great numbers to my clients.
This program will help anyone who wants to make
perfect food for guests and family,
and also for those who want to turn cooking into a business,
and sell serving platters to their customers,
whether you already have a business in this field
or if it appeals to you and you didn't know where to start until now.
:Let's imagine together a situation like this
You're grocery shopping,
then you get home, make a basic dough,
and easily create homemade rolls with it.
You're washing vegetables, cutting, handling them well,
baking pastries, seasoning, and cooking…
You arrange everything in beautiful serving dishes,
spread a tablecloth on the table,
set out all the delicacies you've made,
along with a stack of plates, silverware, flowers, and napkins.
Everything is set and ready,
and as everyone start arriving, a big "wow" comes out of their mouths.
"Hold on… did you make all of this?
No way, you're incredible!"
They can't resist
sneaking a small taste without you noticing,
and from that moment on,
they can't stop complimenting you and asking for recipes.
Some even officially announce that the next gathering will be at your place again,
already mentioning which dishes they want you to make again.
That feeling, those butterflies you feel
when you imagine your friends being so impressed by your food,
I know them well. I experience them every time myself,
whether it's when family or friends come over
or with customers in my Serving Platters business that I manage.
If you want to experience that feeling
,the butterflies in your stomach
,to see your guests absolutely delighted
...or to receive heartfelt messages from your clients
And I have to tell you how
you too can become the top host,
With a program that covers all aspects
Of hosting friends and family.
Filling your table with delicious, vibrant,
and stunning food That will leave everyone speechless,
All without much effort and without requiring any
prior knowledge or experience.

So far, I’ve had hundreds of young teenagers learn from my courses, and even children as young as 8 years old watch the tutorials, follow along, and achieve impressive results! This program is a great fit for teens who love baking and are considering taking their hobby to the next level by selling their creations. There are quite a few teens successfully selling cakes from home, and they do it amazingly.
No, there is no limit. You can watch each lesson as many times as you want.
We will primarily use basic tools and utensils that are typically found in any kitchen, along with some baking items that may not be available in every kitchen, such as a quiche pan, muffin tin, cookie cutters, etc. You can acquire any additional equipment gradually as needed.
In this course, the measurements will generally be in measuring cups and tablespoons, but sometimes also by weight. I highly recommend purchasing a set of measuring cups and a kitchen scale for a more convenient experience and more accurate results.
Hi, I'm Mishi Stern, the former owner of "Mishinka," a home bakery for events, and the writer of the baking column "האופה בקטנה" in Penima magazine for five and a half years.
About 12 years ago, I got married and didn't know how to bake a simple cake. We received a second-hand oven, but it broke down, so I got a toaster oven for baking. I cried tears of joy when the first cake I baked came out of it (I was 22 at the time). Until that moment, I believed I had no chance. When I looked at pictures of cakes and desserts, I envied the women who seemed to have so much talent.
I started experimenting with recipes, and gradually, over time, I improved and became successful at baking better cakes. After a few years, I realized I had to pursue my dream, so I enrolled in a professional pastry school at Estella. Afterward, I opened a home bakery. I've created hundreds of cakes, thousands of desserts, and so many catering platters that I've lost count. But I never forgot the 22-year-old Mishi who didn't believe in herself.
Now that I have enough experience and knowledge, I've decided to take it a step further and teach other women what I know, because I believe that true power in the world comes from women who have confidence in themselves.
